How refunds work for the Basic Submission review fee

What You Are Paying For
JustSimple Tools offers a single paid product: a one-time Basic Submission review fee of $9.90 USD. This is a non-recurring, one-time charge — there is no subscription and nothing to cancel. Paying this fee lets your submission enter our editorial review queue without a required backlink. It does not guarantee approval, listing, ranking, featured placement, or any specific publication timeline.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Creem.io, which acts as our Merchant of Record (the legal seller of record for the transaction). Because of this, your bank or card statement will show the charge from Creem — typically in a form such as CREEM* JUSTSIMPLE or CREEM.IO, not under the JustSimple Tools name. We do not store your card details. Refunds, when issued, are returned to the original payment method through Creem.
When You Can Request a Refund
Because the Basic Submission fee covers the editorial review effort itself, refunds are considered on the following basis:
- Eligible: You were charged more than once for the same submission, or charged in error due to a technical fault.
- Eligible: Your submission was rejected and you had no opportunity to correct and resubmit. Rejected paid submissions are reviewed manually for refund eligibility.
- Not eligible: The review was completed and your listing was approved and published.
- Not eligible: The submission was declined for violating our Terms of Service (for example, false information, broken or parked sites, or prohibited content).
How to Request a Refund
Email contact@justsimple.tools from the address used at checkout, and include:
- The tool name and URL you submitted
- The Creem order or receipt reference
- A short reason for the refund request
Processing Time
We respond to refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued through Creem to your original payment method; depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds typically appear within 5–10 business days.
Disputes and Chargebacks
If you have an issue with a charge, please contact us first — most cases are resolved quickly by email. If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened through Creem, the related submission review may be paused or removed from the active review queue while the dispute is investigated.
